We hit the road on Thursday, July 3rd and headed down to Plymouth. What a fun little adventure that was! I’m going to let Halle’s journal post tell you what we did. One funny story—The Native American tribe that lived in Plymouth were the Wampanoag people. Blake came home and was telling Rusty all about the “Swamp Dogs” who wore war paint, and had animal skin blankets.” We got a pretty good chuckle over that.
And Halle wants to add that the Pilgrims first spotted Cape Cod on her birthday, Nov 9th. Just a few hundred years before she was born.
